Product Highlights
-
Material: Handcrafted from Natural Solid Wood, sanded to a smooth, close-grained surface that invites touch.
-
Design: A long, low-slung media console built as one continuous ribbon of wood that wraps around and loops back on itself at both ends.
-
Rounded End Frame: The top panel curves down at each end and returns underneath as the lower deck, forming a closed, elongated oval loop at either side of the piece.
-
Structure: Two side-by-side drawers set into the left of the frame, plus one long open compartment that runs from the drawer bank to the rounded end.
-
Fronts: Flush, handle-free drawer fronts with a clean shadow gap between them, so nothing interrupts the sweep of the outer curve.
-
Base: Rests on two solid tapered wood blocks tucked in from the ends, lifting the frame just clear of the floor.
-
Functionality: Closed drawers absorb the clutter of remotes and cables while the open deck stays free for a player, a stack of books, or a sculptural object.
-
Uniqueness: Grain travels around each rounded end without a break, so the curve reads as a single drawn line and no two consoles bend the same way.
-
Available Sizes: 48"W × 16"D × 18"H, 55"W × 16"D × 18"H, 63"W × 16"D × 18"H, 71"W × 16"D × 20"H, 79"W × 16"D × 20"H.
A Statement of Nature & Craft
Look at this console from the side and the first thing you notice is that it has no corners. The top surface simply keeps going — it rolls over the end, sweeps down and back underneath, and returns as the lower deck, closing into a long oval opening you can see straight through. That single unbroken gesture is what gives the piece its calm. It sits low and horizontal beneath a wall-mounted screen, more like a smooth river stone than a cabinet, and the room settles around it.
The mood it carries is soft modern with a Japandi restraint: warm, rounded, quiet, entirely free of hardware and sharp edges. In a light-filled living room with plaster walls and pale floors it reads almost like a sculpture that happens to hold your media equipment, and the deep shadow inside each rounded end gives the whole form a sense of lightness that a solid box could never manage.
Natural Materials & Craftsmanship
Handcrafted from Natural Solid Wood, this console is built the difficult way. Instead of butting flat panels into square corners, the maker shapes and joins the frame so the grain follows the curve continuously around each rounded end — a slow process of forming, fairing and hand-sanding until the transition from horizontal top to vertical curve to lower deck cannot be felt under the palm.
The material is left honest. Open grain, mineral streaks and natural tonal shifts run right across the top and around the loops, and the two drawer fronts are cut and arranged so their figure sits in sympathy with the frame around them. Edges are eased by hand, and the finish is applied thinly so it deepens the colour without burying the texture. Each console is available in a Brown Tone Finish, Walnut Tone Finish, Oak Tone Finish, or Black Tone Finish — these are surface tones applied over the same Natural Solid Wood body, not different timbers.
Sculptural Design & Thoughtful Function
The layout is deliberately simple, because the shape is doing the talking. Two drawers sit side by side at one end of the console, their flush fronts separated by nothing more than a fine reveal — no knobs, no pulls, no visible hardware to break the outer line. They take the things you want out of sight: remotes, cables, game controllers, charging bricks, spare batteries.
Beyond the drawer bank, the console opens into a single long compartment. It has no door and no divider — just a clear span of lower deck, open at the front and open again through the rounded end, so light passes straight through the piece. A media player, a router, a shallow stack of art books or a low bowl all sit comfortably here and stay easy to reach. Above it, the full length of the top surface is unbroken and flat, ready for a screen on a stand, a lamp, ceramics, or nothing at all.
Underneath, two solid tapered blocks carry the weight. They are set well in from either end, which leaves the rounded loops visually floating and casts a shadow line the length of the piece. The overall height is kept deliberately low so a wall-mounted television reads at a comfortable seated eye level above it.
Versatile Placement
Its natural home is the living room, centred on the wall beneath a mounted television, where the low profile keeps sightlines open across the space. In a media room the long open compartment keeps players and consoles ventilated and within reach. It also holds its own in a lounge or an open-plan interior used as a room divider or a low console behind seating, since both rounded ends are fully finished and look intentional from any angle. In a wide entryway or a long hallway, the same piece works as a bench-height console for bags, books and a lamp.
Customization & Personalization
Five widths are offered so the console can be matched to the screen above it and the wall behind it: 48"W × 16"D × 18"H, 55"W × 16"D × 18"H and 63"W × 16"D × 18"H in the lower height, then 71"W × 16"D × 20"H and 79"W × 16"D × 20"H for larger walls and larger screens.
Multiple finish options available, including Walnut Tone Finish, Oak Tone Finish, Brown Tone Finish, and Black Tone Finish. Finish choice changes the surface tone only — every size is built from the same Natural Solid Wood. Custom sizing may be available on request; tell us your wall width and the screen you plan to use and we will advise. Natural grain and tonal variation make every piece one of a kind, minor dimensional variation may occur due to the handcrafted process, and production photos or videos can be provided during the build.
Care & Maintenance
Dust the curved surfaces with a soft dry cloth, following the direction of the grain around each loop. For marks, wipe with a barely damp cloth and dry immediately — never leave standing moisture on the wood. Keep the console out of direct sunlight and away from heating vents, radiators and humidifiers, since sustained heat or dry air can move solid wood over time. Use felt pads or a tray under electronics, ceramics and anything metal, lift objects rather than dragging them across the top, and refresh the surface with a suitable furniture oil or wax once or twice a year to keep the tone even.
Important
Once our products are finished, we disassemble them into several pieces before shipping. This isn't a shortcut — it's actually to protect your order! Our pieces can be large and bulky, so breaking them down makes them much easier to package securely and move safely, which means your item arrives without any dents, cracks, or damage from bumps during transit.
No worries about assembly, though — our craftsmen carefully design every joint and connection to fit together snugly and precisely once you put it together. Plus, we include detailed assembly instructions with every order, so you can set everything up with confidence.
